SAMARIA. Circa 375-333 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.57 g, 10 h). The Persian Great King seated right on throne, holding scepter in his right hand and flower in his left; behind to left, 𐡔𐡍 ('šn' in Aramaic). Rev. Crowned, bearded and four-winged male deity with bird's tail to right, holding uncertain object in his right hand and flower in his left. Meshorer & Qedar 100. Sofaer 41-42. Very rare. Edge chipped, otherwise, good very fine.
