UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Tremissis (Gold, 12 mm, 1.22 g, 7 h), imitating Anthemius, 467-472, uncertain mint, late 5th century. D N ANTHEMIVS C (sic!) Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Anthemius to right. Rev. [C]OMOB Cross within wreath. Cf. RIC 2906 (for prototype). Very rare and interesting. Very fine.
