FORTVNAE RED[VCI] / S C Hadrian standing front, head to right, holding roll in his left hand and clasping his right hand with that of Fortuna, standing front, head to left, holding cornucopiae in her left hand; at her feet to right, rudder. BMC 1502. Cohen 790. RIC 2105. A splendid piece, beautifully patinated and with a portrait of particularly fine style. Tooled on the reverse on the upper legend and Hadrian's head, otherwise, extremely fine.
