ΠPOCTANNЄΩN - ΘЄMIC Group of three athletes: the one in the middle drawing lot from an urn; the two others standing left and right, looking at their lots; above, agonistic urn. BMC -. SNG Leypold -. SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock -. Von Aulock, Pisidien II, 1809 (1 specimen, same dies). Of the highest rarity, apparently the second and by far the best example known. A well struck and perfectly centered medallion with an intriguing and most attractive reverse scene. Minor smoothing, otherwise, good very fine.
