AY K Λ CEΠ• CEYHPOC Π Laureate head of Septimius Severus to right. Rev. YΠA AYP ΓAΛΛOY - NIKOΠOΛIT / ΠPOC ICTP Septimius, holding eagle tipped scepter, standing right in quadriga being driven right by a draped figure; behind horses, two attendants; above in the back, trophy with two captives seated at the base; to right, Virtus, holding vexillum in her left hand and a sword in her right, leading quadriga to right. AMNG I, 1327. Rare. Beautiful green patina and with a particularly attractive reverse. Minor flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
