APULIA. Luceria. Circa 217-212 BC. Quadrunx (Bronze, 30 mm, 32.05 g, 4 h). Thunderbolt on a raised disk. Rev. Club; L to left and •••• to right. HN Italy 677b. Thurlow-Vecchi 282. A nice and clear example with a very high relief and an attractive dark patina. Flan fault near the edge as made, otherwise, very fine.


From a Swiss collection, privately acquired from SKA Monetarium in the 1980s.
