KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 12 mm, 2.14 g, 3 h), Pella, struck under Philip II or Alexander III, circa 340-328. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY Bow above club; below, trident right. Le Rider 81. Scrape on the obverse and light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
