Anonymous, circa 225-214 BC. Quadrigatus - Didrachm (Silver, 23-24 mm, 6.69 g, 6 h), uncertain mint. Laureate head of Janus. Rev. ROMA (incuse on raised tablet) Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt with right hand and holding scepter in left, in quadriga right driven by Victory. Crawford 29/3. RBW 63. Sydenham 64. A splendid example, beautifully toned and with a magnificent reverse. Good very fine.
